Taufik Ali Memorial Scholarships for Postgraduate Studies 2011-12
Applications are invited from undergraduate and postgraduate students of Muslim faith born in Malaysia or Hong Kong who are studying in any discipline for a degree, diploma or certificate at the University for the Taufik Ali Memorial Scholarships for Undergraduate Studies and the Taufik Ali Memorial Scholarships for Postgraduate Studies for the academic year 2010-11 and 2011-12 respectively.
2. Details of the Scholarships are as follows:

| Eligibility | | Applicants must – be of Muslim faith born in Malaysia or Hong Kong; and – be registered for a full-time undergraduate curriculum in 2010-11 leading to a degree, diploma or certificate at The University of Hong Kong. | | Applicants must – be of Muslim faith born in Malaysia or Hong Kong; – be registered for a full-time postgraduate curriculum in 2011-12 leading to a degree, diploma or certificate at The University of Hong Kong; and – hold a Bachelor’s degree with honours (preferably First or Upper Second Class Honours) from an approved University. |
| Conditions of Award | | The Scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic merit. | | The Scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic merit. |
| Value | | A maximum value equivalent to the tuition fee. | | Tuition fees and a monthly living allowance to be determined by the Selection Committee. One return airfare at the most economical rate from home country to Hong Kong may be granted for the whole period of study at The University of Hong Kong. |
| Tenure | | The Scholarships are renewable for further years, subject to excellent academic progress. | | The Scholarships are renewable for a second year, subject to excellent academic progress. |
